MY FOOD PHILOSOPHY

I make real food that is recognizable. If you ask me, a respect for fresh food made from scratch has been lost and I'd like to bring that back. Creative food doesn't have to be crazy fancy, or elf-size portions that don't satisfy. 

My catering style reflects this attitude. So, instead of the boring food you see on every catering menu, I'll make a unique menu for your party that will please your palate and impress your guests.

MEET THE CHEF

Jodi Remenap has a background unique from other chefs.  Initially self taught, Jodi began creating healthy gourmet meals for friends in Southern California in 2005. With a pencant for healthy cooking, she quickly built  her private chef clientele amongst executives and celebrities looking to improve their eating habits.

She decided to earn a degree in Professional Culinary Arts in 2007. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Central Michigan University in health sciences and physical therapy.

 

​Throughout her culinary career, Jodi has volunteered her time for such causes as Project Angel-food of Los Angeles and Meals on Wheels of Monterey Bay. She was honored with an award from the prestigious Les Dames D’Escoffier in 2012 for "Culinary Excellence and Entrepreneurship as a Female in the Cooking Industry".  ​

 

For the last ten years she has been the owner / operator of her family's long-time seasonal Eatery & Ice Cream Shop in Michigan, where she brought about a menu made from scratch and ice cream sourced locally. ​ In addition, teaching kids' classes and employing teens with their first summer jobs has now become part of her wheelhouse.

 

As a new resident in Tampa Bay, she is eager to cook for your event or your family.
